Core research project
- Maintain a cohort representative of the HIV population currently living in Switzerland. This requires the continuous recruitment of HIV-infected patients referred to a participating outpatient clinic or private physician.
- Conduct systematic follow-up with standardized data collection of clinical and laboratory results, integrated to the management of the patients for the mutual benefit of the patients and of the research project.
- Maintain the infrastructure that facilitates sample acquisition and the execution of research projects by providing data and stored blood samples.
- Maintain and improve the high standard of care of HIV-infected patients in Switzerland
