Deadline and addresses
SHCS projects
Letter of intent and full proposals have to be submitted at least 3 weeks before the Scientific Board (SB) meeting. See agenda on the SHCS website.
All proposals need to be submitted electronically to submission@shcsmail.ch, from where they are automatically forwarded to the chair of the SB and the administrative office of the SHCS.
duration of the projects
1) projects accepted before 01.04.2022:
- All projects accepted before 2019, need to be finalized before 01.05.2023.
- Projects which started between 01.01.2019 and 01.04.2022 need to be finalized before 31.05.2024.
If the deadline cannot be met, the RI has to submit a short written request to the SB which is then discussed in “changes to current projects”.
2) projects accepted from 01.04.2022 onwards:
The study duration estimate on page 1 of the project template must be adhered to and can be prolonged for max. 1 year. The total project duration cannot exceed 4 years.
Exceptions need approval by the SB. If the project is not finished at this deadline, the remaining funds are transferred back to the SHCS.
MoCHiV projects
For the submission of MoCHiV projects, please send a preliminary copy of your proposal to:

After an internal discussion among the MoCHiV Board, the submission follows the same procedure as for SHCS projects (submission@shcsmail.ch).
